Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh

Edinburgh Year 030

If you visit Edinburgh, it would be hard to miss Arthur’s Seat, as it’s a mountain in the middle of the city. It’s actually one of many hills in Edinburgh, and it’s most likely named for, you guessed it, the many legends surrounding King Arthur.

If you’re not in good shape, as I certainly wasn’t when I first attempted the climb, it can be exhausting and take awhile. But the scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and definitely worth seeing.

My one piece of advice, take the bus home afterwards, chances are you won’t want to keep walking once you’ve completed the hike!
